Steve Cochran serves as Senior Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church. Brother Steve received his call to ministry in 1978. He served in Youth Ministry, Music Ministry and Associate Pastor ministries from 1978 until 1984 in Nacogdoches and Cameron, Texas. His first pastorate was in Rogers, Texas where he served for 6 years, followed by his pastorate in Winnsboro, Texas for 6 years. He came to Macedonia Baptist Church in 1996 to serve alongside Pastor Ray Tenpenney as Co-Pastor for 14 months. Following Bro. Tenpenney's retirement, Bro. Steve began to serve this church as the Senior Pastor.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bro. Steve is married to the former Karen Smith of Vidor, Texas. They have enjoyed years of parenting and family life with thier four children... Chris, Lauren, Matt, and Josh. The Cochrans have used most of their free time involved with their kids sports and extra-curricular activities.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Criswell College. John enjoys traveling, golf, fishing and spending time with his family.

Bob White is Macedonia's Worship/Music Leader. He completed High School in Lake Jackson, Texas and went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education. Bob came to Macedonia after graduating from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Church Music.
In 1979 he began serving as Music and Youth Minister. After several years in the dual role, his responsibilities shifted to the Worship and Music Ministries of the church.

He and his wife Melinda have two daughters, Baylie and Avery, and are expecting a son in March.

Brent Thorn serves as Pastor to Families. Brent surrendered to ministry in 1993 at Texas A&M University while attending a Breakaway bible study. Since then, Brent has graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Psychology, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Family and Marriage Counseling and M.A. in Religious Education.
Prior to joining Macedonia Baptist Church's staff, he has served as a Single minister in Ft. Worth, TX, Minister of Education and Recreation in Lindale, TX, and Children's Minister in College Station, TX.
Brent has been married to Kimberly (Hovis) Thorn, from Round Rock, TX, since 1996 and they have four children: Jacob, Alaina, Bailey, and Parker.
In his spare time, Brent pursues his PhD in the History of Ideas, bow hunting, fishing, golf and camping.
