John Wallingford serves as Minister of Missions. Before joining the staff at Macedonia Baptist Church in December, 1985, he served as Minister of Education / Outreach at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, Ark. and Minister of Outreach at Waller Baptist Church in Bossier City, La.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from Criswell College. John enjoys traveling, golf, fishing and spending time with his family.

He and his wife, Rita have two sons, Scotty and Randy, a grand-son, Todd, and two great-grandchildren, Tyson and Tesla.

Bob White is Macedonia's Worship/Music Leader.  He completed High School in Lake Jackson, Texas and went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Education.  Bob came to Macedonia after graduating from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Church Music.

In 1979 he began serving as Music and Youth Minister.  After several years in the dual role, his responsibilities shifted to the Worship and Music Ministries of the church.

Bob is married to Janet and they have 4 children and one grandchild. Fishing is his favorite thing to do when he has some time off. His largest fish is a 45 pound Amberjack.

Cory Perkins has served as Minister of Students at Macedonia Baptist Church since July 2002.  He graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in Religion.

 Cory enjoys camping, fishing, basketball and spending time with his family.

 He and his wife Melinda have three children, Baylie, Avery, and Graycen.

Brent Thorn serves as Pastor to Families.  Brent surrendered to ministry in 1993 at Texas A&M University while attending a Breakaway bible study.  Since then, Brent has graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Psychology, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Family and Marriage Counseling and M.A. in Religious Education.

Prior to joining Macedonia Baptist Church's staff, he has served as a Single minister in Ft. Worth, TX, Minister of Education and Recreation in Lindale, TX, and Children's Minister in College Station, TX.

Brent has been married to Kimberly (Hovis) Thorn, from Round Rock, TX, since 1996 and they have four children:  Jacob, Alaina, Bailey, and Parker.

In his spare time, Brent pursues his PhD in the History of Ideas, bow hunting, fishing, golf and camping.
